IBSH was founded with a singular vision — to create interiors that transcend trends and become enduring expressions of how people live. From our base in Trincomalee, we have spent years refining a design philosophy rooted in material honesty, spatial clarity and deep respect for craft.
Every project begins with listening. The best interiors are not imposed from above but grown from understanding — how a family gathers, how a business operates, how light moves through a room at different hours. This understanding shapes everything that follows.

The studio deepens its residential philosophy around wellness and biophilic principles — placing nature, light and material at the heart of every home.
IBSH opens a dedicated materials research space, investing in sustainable sourcing and custom joinery production with local craftspeople.
